Services we offer
Free consultation
First and foremost, I’ll meet with you and get to know you and your family, and learn what you need and want in your new home. We’ll talk about designs, budget, location, and financing, and help you customize a plan to fit your budget. I’ll explain the building process in detail to help you understand everything that’s involved.
Building plans
The price of your home includes a full set of detailed, custom home plans. I make sure your plans fit your needs and your budget, without compromising character and quality.
Proposal
In addition to the building plans, I provide a 3-5 page detailed proposal explaining the construction process, from digging the foundation to handing you the keys. It gives you an outline of the planned timeline, and details about the quality products that will go into your home.
Custom financing
I work directly with a lender and will personally help you arrange a custom financing package. This minimizes financing costs and keeps your overall costs lower. The construction loan will be in your name, so you benefit from the related tax credits, too!
Finding Land
I have direct connections to dedicated land sellers. Once we talk about your desired location, I’ll explore available options and help you find the perfect lot for you, at the best price. I’ll make sure your lot is appropriate to build your home and review any covenants that run with the land, so you can be sure there aren’t any additional cost or surprises.
Sub-contractor relationships
I have worked with each of my sub-contractors for 20-25 years. These relationships are vital to keeping supply costs down, building the best quality home, and dealing with the inevitable issues that come up during the construction process. My sub-contractors do top-quality work, so you don’t waste money and energy re-doing or fixing mistakes. I’ll take care of finding and hiring all the right sub-contractors to build your custom home.
Rebates
I keep abreast of all rebates available to my clients and pass them directly back to you! Plus, I’ll assist you with all the paperwork and details to make sure you actually get the rebates you’re entitled to.
Warranties
Homes By Brill offers a one-year warranty from the time you move into your new home. You can rest assured that as you settle into your home, we’ll fix most issues that arise. Some items in your home, like appliances, windows, and heating and cooling systems, may have longer warranties, too. I’ll pass along all the information and paperwork on these warranties directly to you.
